From a few weeks now when I’m playing Reach my screen freezes for like 2 seconds and then I can continue playing normally. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t.
I’ve cleaned the disk and it still hapens, do you think its my console?
Your disc may be broken. Try renting or borrowing a copy of Reach and see if it works.
It happens to me as well, not only on Reach but also on Halo 3. That random screen freeze for 3-4 seconds. Whenever it happens, it also puts me on red bar connection for a few moments and puts me on yellow for the rest of the match.
I have heard multiple reports of this. Not sure what the reason for that is, though.
Sounds like it may be a console issue, as I’ve never had this happen to me before.

I was having the same issue with my DLC copy of Reach so I removed my consoles HDD and used the disc copy of Reach along with a USB attached HDD for storage and the problem went away.
Maybe a dying HDD/DVD drive that can’t stream textures fast enough?
It’s happened to me a couple of times in the last month, in Campaign and in Score Attack so no real multiplayer involved - I have the game loaded onto HDD so I don’t think the disk is the problem, and I haven’t noticed it with any other game we play on the console (haven’t tried H3 in a while though)
If the networking is flagged, maybe it’s a problem with the Live connection? I wonder if anyone has had similar experience playing offline - it happens so rarely though it’d be hard to reproduce.

I have to try another game, the same thing happened yday while playing a youtube video. Might be my console.

I guess that might be it, it’s an H3 console and it RROD once.
