It seems halo 5 is having problems syncing my profile at the main menu. This seems to stop me from accessing any online features at all. None. Nada. “Oh…not even…?” No. Nothing.
It comes up with an unhelpful message, saying absolutely nothing about where to go to fix it or whom to contact. SO… here I am. Having re-downloaded this game again to double check that it wasn’t the aforementioned ‘Bug’ Download’ and countless restarts, not to mention the TIME I have lost to this so far, with also checking all of my Xbox profile’s settings for any interfering restrictions, I am out of Ideas. Wielding just a shard of enthusiasm, I have come here with the hope of obtaining some sort of answer.
I nearly didn’t.
Luckily I love Halo.
Anyway, the message:
’Error authorizing user with Halo 5: Guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes.’Followed by'An error occurred when Syncing your profile’
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also had the same problem/error message … I was able to play campaign though; seems different people are having similarly different issues, so hopefully they’ll have ALL the bugs worked out by the end of the week. but so far, yeah, they have failed.

Yeah I can play the campaign but I really wanna play with my friends (zing). Its why most of us play the game. I agree. hopefully they sort it.
somehow we need to get 343’s attention on this because theres many threads with this same issue and not a single one (from what i’ve seen) has been replied to by 343’s profile
I´m also getting those two error messages, i´ve only managed to make a hard reset (press and hold the xbox button on the console for 5-10 seconds), it puts the green screen at the start and it can load the profile, but after an hour or two of play it appears again, so i’m out of ideas, any help would be appreciated!
Guys I found a fix for this that hasnt failed me yet and I hope it will help you guys out as well. So I complete this in two steps.
Step 1: I go into the network settings on my xbox and disconnect from my wifi and then re-connect.
Step 2: I go into my settings on my xbox and make it do a restart. I found that this is especially important because if you do a manual restart yourself oposed to the warm restart through the settings panel it still doesnt seem to work.
I believe this works because it resyncs your internet connect and fully restarts the game as well instead of opening an already cached/loaded game.
This happened a couple times to me, I recommend signing in and out of your profile, disconnecting and connecting to your wifi and resetting your xbox through the snap bar
