Hey guys, sorry if this is a really dum question but i cant find any online, i just bought the game and did a 61 GB update to find no one online, idk if im missing something or what but i just really want to play online, can anyone help ? When i search for a game i could be sitting here for about 30 mins and still find nobody! please help me!
343i servers are pretty bad, It’s the same for most people. Sometimes it can be up to 5-10 minutes for me but worse for others.
So, does this appear to be a lack of players issue? or is this due to program glitches please?
I have had the game 2 weeks now, have tried regularly to play online and have found 1 MATCH in that time, I have waited up to 25 minutes before giving up… I realise that the community is a bit smaller than we are used to, but… ? what is the point of Halo without its multiplayer?

I wouldn’t say it is lack or player just issues with the game itself. You should try each individual playlist and see how you get on some people can seem to only find games in a certain playlist but not others so it is worth a try.
i think it’s a bit of both really. If you find that you’ve been searching for 5 minutes without success, best thing to do is back out and start searching again. If you haven’t already, might be worth doing a hard reset of your console (hold power for 30 secs, remove power brick for a minute or 2 and then restart). Could also check if your NAT type is set to open, moderate or strict. Open is best, moderate and strict will give you issues.
I agree with stckrboy. If I can’t get into a game, I usually back out then retry. Most times I come up with a game on the second search.
Yeah, cheers, have tried all of this, even cleared saved games cache in case of glitches after uninstalling a heap of games recently. all to no avail!
