Hi Guys,
Been Grinding The Laso Playlists for MCC and have come into a problem, but its not with the game-play. I Have finished the LASO playlists for Halo Reach, Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3. For those of you who have played laso you’ll know how hard it is, I’ve been grinding for the LASO master achievement which requires you to complete all MCC laso playlists. However when i completed reach and halo 3 the achievements didn’t pop up even tho i have got all missions highlighted as completed(including intro cut scenes.) Any Help would be great cause I would Rather Bleach my eyes than go and replay them again <3

As someone who’s got all 700 achievements in MCC I can understand the frustration, sadly MCC achievements have been buggy for a while now.
Ive looked at your waypoint service record and it doesn’t actually show any LASO completions, only CoOp Legendary completions.
The LASO symbol will have the Legendary Skull & Swords as well as Skulls (look at my MCC campaign service record to see what it looks like).
I will say that some achievements in MCC have weird prerequisites that aren’t mentioned. For example the Halo 2 speed run achievement doesn’t unlock unless you’ve beaten the game solo too.
It may be worth just playing through the games on a solo non LASO run to get those completions.
As a reminder, LASO achievements have to be done within the LASO playlists specifically, although I’m sure you know that already.
I believe there is a achievement help thread somewhere or at least there was.
Any continued issues it may be worth checking the support forums or submitting a support ticket for help resolving the issue.

They are server side achievements now so their server has to register you completed them. You can try a hard reset of the console to see if that helps sinc the data from your Xbox to their server.

Steam or Windows Store?
I had seen some posts about Steam where quitting Steam and restarting it would have achievements trigger in the main menu on the next boot up.

On steam but still no luck would be fine doing 3 and reach again but i cba doing it all again just in case it does it a second time aha, mainly glad i dont have to re do Halo 2 Cause that put hair on my chest ahah
Just curios - did you play Halo 4’s LASO playlist and, if so, did it track (with you unlocking the achievement)? I have been trying to play the LASO playlist and noticed none of the Halo 4 playlists actually track progress. I wasn’t even able to get the Chest of Gold achievement and it seems other people have had issues with any Halo 4 playlist progress tracking. If anyone is having issues saving Playlist progress in MCC, I managed to find a solution after looking more in True Achievements and Reddit.
I had issues with Halo 4 playlist progress not saving at all I had done all needed playlists for all other games, but when I tried halo 4 LASO or Tight Corridors on Xbox, and separately on PC, nothing saved.
I then followed SaP RaZzor’s comment (https://www.trueachievements.com/forum/viewthread.aspx?tid=1248946&anchor=10351031#m10351031) as well as Seyguhh suggestion from his reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/qlgu0s/halo_3_mcc_playlists_not_saving_progress/) and it worked.
To do this:
- From Xbox Home, go to MCC, but don’t launch it. Press the Menu button and go to Manage game and add-ons.
- Under Saved Data, press your proile and choose DELETE EVERYWHERE.
- Now launch MCC. All playlists progression (including ones completed) are gone. However, if you start any game’s mission, any Completed playlist will return to normal. For example, in all Halo’s apart from Halo 4, I had at least 3 playlists completed. Before I started a mission in each game, they all showed 0. But after I went through one checkpoint in one mission of each game, the completed playlists returned back to normal.
Important note: Any incompleted playlist will revert back to 0 and you’ll lose all saved progress. So if you have any playlist partially completed, I suggest you complete it before doing the above.
After doing the above, I tried Halo 4’s Tight Corridors playlist and quit after the first mission (Dawn). I was so glad to see that the progress saved and I can resume it. Similarly, started Halo 4 LASO and quit after the Prologue (which is only a cinematic). Progress saved again
