I need help. For the past 5 days Halo 5 has been almost unplayable for me because I am constantly getting hit with the lag where everyone runs into walls and they last for 8-15 seconds each match multiple times (based on how long the match is).
But the thing is while its happening I’m able to have full conversations with my friends in party chat with no problem, also I encounter no problems with lag when I’m playing any of my other games online, just Halo 5. Also it doesn’t just happen in Matchmaking, its also happens in Campaign, Forge, & Customs only when I’m playing with others.
Yep. You more than likely have Time Warner Cable as an ISP and live somewhere near the Northeast or Ohio. This has been ongoing since about 2 weeks after launch. 343 hasn’t responded lately, they acknowledged they know the problem exists but is too wrapped up in HWC to do anything about it. I’m pretty sure they can’t fix it either, it is related to the delay and packet loss during a match that causes complete failure of the multiplayer match for that particular player.
