hello every one i just got halo wars about 2 weeks ago cause some of my mates had it, when ever i go online i get owned straight away because i get rushed every time and i have no way to defend my self and the enemy always have so much more higher units then me no matter how quick i build stuff can some one give me some advise how to beat the rushers or any advise on how to play lol thanks
Build hogs while building 3 pads
Build a reactor 4th
Que gunner, upgrade pads. Use 5 hogs to defend rush, to counter rush or to expand if you’re not getting rushed. Build more hogs if you’re getting rushed or doing damage.
Buy fortress
Build 500 reactor, build a depo, pump tanks till advanced reactor. If possible, expand during this period.
Advance a reactor for canister / wolves, get 5-6 tanks, build another reactor on your expo, get PT. Build wolves to counter air, tanks to counter anything on the ground and occasionally oxide to counter hunters (though tanks do okay vs them).
Once you have tech 4 pt/dual launcher, get spartans / reinforcements / reserves / upgraded leader powers/hawks/ODST, roughly in that order after ensuring you have a solid ground army.
Do this “general build” as all 3 unsc leaders. Expand as early as possible. Pick up crates with your hogs.
As a covy, go Temple 2nd bless pad, upgrade your melee or build special units (out of your main base) to defend or to rush. Never clear expos as covy, either rush or defend a rush. Single summit + leader tech or double summit without leader tech.
If you have an expo, eventually transition into Tech 3 leader + scarab with air support.
