SPARTAN COMPANIES was a great step in the right direction, which inherently came at a cost of spawn killing and a negative experience to players BUT it added a way to communionize and reinforce eachother in ways we haven’t seen again. Where we might not see a return officially, I am developing an answer to it and looking for help in materializing this website/web app.
With the unofficial Halo API (sorry can I mention this here?) It is possible to create and aggregate data to display similarly to what we knew before.
Right now I have been working on a project to bring back Spartan Companies and with a new name Spartan Units. Under the guise of HIGHCOM’s ONI AI located in the UNSC Headquarters called Lysithea and developing a narrative experience around her access to UNSC database we think its bound to be the perfect way to bring Spartan Companies back with the additon of a “Battlenet” for big team battle tournaments like BigTeamBattle.net used to run.
I’m looking for leaders to join and create their Spartan Companies as a Spartan Unit at our site to prove to others its worth completing! As a passion project it costs quite a bit for me but I have been successful in finding sponsors that are willing to see this project thru if we can get more support and Units onboard to show potential.
