i would like to build some maps i go into forge and build them but i cant play on them is there a place i can get a list of what has to be in the maps for them to be playable ie how many spawn points what the properties have to be set for on the hills please help if anybody knows thank you
it depends what game type your trying to play on that map if its team slayer there are usually no requirements that you need to play on that map. but if its something like invasion you need to put objectives so that it will work. so what game type are you trying to play on?
If you want to add a certain gametype to your map make sure you’re not in “basic editing” but instead the gametype you wish to add such as “CTF” or “Assault”. Then you go from there by adding initial spawn points and changing the TEAM colour and not the object colour then place hill markers for your objectives.

thank you much it looks like that link will answer tons of questions for me i think where i was stuck was the fact in the forge where to my thinking you should able to make all your markers the game type you want cant you have to take a map to that game type so the forge is not the real place to build a map you have to build it in the game type to get the setting you need lots of reading to day
