Two year’s in, and Halo 5 is still easy to hop into games without any trouble at all! (unless you’re playing Warzone Assault)…
Back when the game was released, I created a company called the Spartan Dads**.** Man, did it blow up! The concept behind it was a group of adult men with children who still loved to play Halo together… in a mostly casual setting. I was shocked to find that this message resonated with a large portion of the Halo community… at one point in time, our company grew to the 100-member max, but also spawned for sister companies, so 400 members, and due to the casual nature of the company, we weren’t strict on the “dad” rule… which made SD feel like one of the most welcoming companies in Halo 5 for anyone who wanted a great group of people to play with. This spawned a website, a large group of 300 of us actively communicating with each other on an app, a store, and money that we were able to donate as well from the proceeds from that. Pretty cool stuff!
Recently, we finally achieved one of the hardest feats to accomplish in Halo 5 - we finally finished the kill commendations. Achilles is out of the way! As a result, several prominent, active members left the company in order to form another segment of SD… big team and WZ specific players. This left about 15 spots open in our original SD company. But what, outside of custom game nights, could we focus on achieving at this point? The only thing left is Game Mode Commendations, and if we pull of that feat as well, we’ll be one of two companies I believe to ever pull off the trifecta of Halo 5 company glory… and I think that’d be pretty damn cool.
So, all of this to say… if you’re playing Halo 5 actively to this day, we’d love to have you join our experienced, long-running and actively playing company to help us finish the remainder of those Game Mode commendations. You’ll get to play with great people, and be a part of an amazing community of mostly casual gamers that fully intend on being here together again come Halo 6. In particular, we’re hoping to find guys who love playing Infection, Grifball, Assault, and Breakout… because those guys will help expedite the remaining Game Mode commendations we need.
