HELP! MY PLATINUM REQ GLITCHED AND GAVE ME NOTHING

I checked to see if my Platinum req Pack gave me anything after it GLITCHED but i never received anything. Also my daily req glitched too and i didn’t get anything from that either. can you replace both my daily req Pack and my Platinum req Pack please. And if you dont BELIEVE me then i have some Footage of what Happened. its also on twitter so you can watch what happened. My twitter acount is GK_FROM_YOUTUBE.

Don’t worry OP, you won’t have lost any items. What happens here is that the opening animation for the packs gets skipped over but the items do still get deposited in your REQ inventory. You need to hard reset your console to see the updated inventory in-game, alternatively you check for new items here on Waypoint: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/requisitions/categories/customization?ownedOnly=False

THX for the Help but i think that the GLITCH was worse than others. I hard reset the xbox and then I checked both in-game and halo waypoint but found nothing new. Im not saying that you lied or your wrong. I believe you and I know your Right. Im just saying that this glitch is probably a different glitch that both doesn’t show you getting the req pack, and you not getting the stuff from the req total. I thing halo should replace my req packs. THX for trying to help though. have great day.

I’m taking a look into this. Can you confirm the approximate date/time (along with your timezone) that this happened? I’m seeing a few platinum packs being opened on your account in the last few days, and want to make sure that we’re looking at the right one.

I’ll follow up with you in a PM with what I’m seeing in our system once I know which pack open transaction you’re talking about. Moving to PM to make sure we keep any personal info private

Just to set expectations, it will probably be next Tuesday or Wednesday before I have a reply for you.

I’ve PMed more details to The Gam3rK1ng, but wanted to close out this forum post with a more general explanation.

If you watch the video, you can see what appears to be a pack opening and no REQs being awarded. What actually happened is that our content management system had a very short outage, and the game was unable to retrieve the images to show on the cards. When this happens, no card animation is shown, and it looks like no REQs were awarded. However, when the pack was opened in the game, it communicates with our inventory service which transactionally exchanges the pack for the awarded REQs and adds them to your inventory. The REQs that were awarded are then sent down to the game for display. In this case, it was unable to display the REQs, but they were already added to the inventory.

Hope this sheds a little light on what happened here…
