Hey everyone, I recently participated in a Xbox test program to try out a new disc format for the Xbox 360. The disc format is supposed to have 2 more gigs then a standard Xbox disc. The disc sent for the trial members to test for full functionality was a copy of Halo Reach. I tested the disc out and everything worked great. My issue is that an update made about a month ago for Halo reach caused to disc to become useless. I heard that all members in this test program were supposed to receive an e-mail with a free downloadable copy of Halo Reach, but I never received such E-mail.
I contacted Microsoft support and they told me the solution was to post on the Bungie forums, but it seemed a bit strange, but I was out of options. I bought Reach at launch but sold it believing this copy was a permanent solution.
I posted at Bungie and they told me to come here for help. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.
A few days after the Title Update came out, this problem was resolved by e-mailing EVERY participant of the Preview Program a code for Halo: Reach on Games on Demand, check your e-mail linked to your Xbox LIVE Account, make sure to check Junk e-mail to.

Ummm, your time frames are off, by quite a lot. The test was back in the spring and the update was back in September. Why didn’t you bring this up when everyone else did?
Check your email timeline around 9/23/11 from Xbox 360 xboxreps@engage.xbox.com
