So I’m planning to write a book detailing the life of a particular Sangheili through the Human-Covenant War, and the aftermath. I would like help to make sure I have all lore down correctly, and I would love just any ideas you would like me to detail.
Note that I am not a professional author. Just a guy who wants to write about and add to the Halo universe.
I’ll be posting a few pages when they’re done and I’ve looked through them. Until then, just put down some ideas, settings, or characters you would like me to add into the story.
Here’s a quick summary-
A Sangheili boy starts his duel that will show to his family that he is honorable and worthy to be in the Tarak family. However, he fights someone who is just as good as he is. The fight lasts hour until an elder stops the duel, granting both of the Elites acceptance in their culture. The two Sangheili become good friends because of this, and later join up in the Covenant. After fighting through the war, they start to question their beliefs in the “Great Journey”. When the Great Schism takes place and the Covenant is destroyed, the two friends join a faction led by the ruthless Tor. Tor leads his Sangheili-only army onto a planet that has Forerunner origins. Many secrets are uncovered there, and the two Elites decide to leave the faction. However, they are trapped on the planet with a Flood outbreak beginning, and are enemies to everything except to a Forerunner AI installed to keep the Flood in the planet.
The story ends with the Elites pleading Asylum to the UNSC, and eventually joining in the ranks of the humans to help maintain the peace.
Obviously this can be changed at any time if I think of something, but what do you think of? Should I continue writing this book?
