help mastering any covy weapon.

as you can see from my spartan (the recon helmet means i’ve mastered all covy loadouts.)

i have almost mastered every covy weapon, currently at 88%.

yes i havent quite mastered the needler, beam rifle, concussion rifle, or fuel rod. they really just take time and chance like most ordnance weapons.

if you need help mastering any weapon just ask, I’ll supply the best loadout, maps, and gametypes.

i have the biggest trouble with the concussion rifle, i can’t get a damn kill with it. also any support as with the needler as to the best way to kill with that as well. all others i have covered, if not mastered. but that concussion!!! noooo!!! haha thanks for the help man

I’ll be the one to ask the burning question: What did you do for the Plasma Pistol?

For the Needler, just play Infinity Slayer on Haven, Adrift or Abandon. There are plenty of Needlers there and the maps are pretty small so you should not have trouble killing with it.

Dude plasma pistol is a beast. Ive loved that gun since Halo 1. Emp in the back behind an unsuspecting enemy and by the time they turn around you might have cooled down. Or hit him with a melee from the front and blast away at him.

the concussion rifle is a very tricky one. first thing first you’re going to want to make sure you have the ammo mod on (more shot mean more potential kills)

concussion rifle is really only good when your enemy has their back against the wall. you’ve probably noticed that if you shoot someone point blank it doesn’t do as much as it should, or at their feet they can jump and it will be as if you boost them up. but it is really good if you shoot them against a wall.

best maps for the concussion rifle would be any of the majestic maps, longbow (if you can camp the middle base inside, not ontop) or exile.

there are two loadouts,
primary - assault rifle (lowers shields quickly)
secondary - concussion (when u call it in)
armor ability - jet pack
support - ammo (the other loadout is the same but with dexterity)

if you use the loadout with ammo then they best option is to fly above your enemy and be a phantom and just rain fire onto their head (this usually got me killed more because you are more exposed)

if you use dexterity then shoot them till they are one shot with the assault rifle (it lowers there shields very quickly) then quickly switch guns and shoot 1-3 shots at their feet or at them.

its pretty annoying using this weapon, so good luck!

EDIT: and needler is really good in long hall ways, it is usually a first ordnance on a few maps. needler’s loadout can be anything, as long as it has ammo because it burns through it.

my best maps would be haven, monolith, exile, and longbow.

all of the bottom part of haven is good. the top parts are a lot harder to get a kill with, and stand by the ramps to the top, you’ll only need to worry about dmrs and brs.

exile i would go to the middle and look down the cave ramp where the enemy team comes for, or stand near it.

monolith would be anywhere near the middle, don’t go to the center of the map or outter part of it because it has a lot of cut-away points.

longbow is more difficult, but at the top of the gravity lift looking at the enemy spawns.

there is only one game type and one loadout you’ll need for this one.

the best gametype - regicide
loadout -
primary - assault rifle
secondary - plasma pistol
armor ability - thruster pack (if you aren’t good with the thruster pack then use jet pack)
tactical - shielding
support - dexterity

first thing you should know, you’re K/D will die because of this weapon, and you’re assists will skyrocket from it. (i say all covy weapons are assist magnets)

why regicide? a few reasons. most people will crowd around the king, so you will know where to go. another reason is because it is FFA. you have a way higher chance of finding someone not paying attention to you or be one shot.

now for getting kills. it takes all 12 shots in the head to get one kill with the plasma pistol (after 12 shots it overheats and takes forever to cool) you will want to start with your assault rifle, it lowers their shields very quickly, once the shields are down take out your plasma pistol and shoot a good 4-7 shots into them and they are dead.
if you don’t want to use the assault rifle then shoot 6 shots into the head then wait a second then shoot another 7 into their head. (you can miss one shot)

the best maps to use would be haven (everyone usually fights bottom middle) adrift (your gonna run around in circles for this one) and abandon (it goes all over the place). the majestic maps are probably also good for the plasma pistol.

it seems easy, but its very hard. soon enough you’ll get good at getting all shots into the head, but keep in mind, the bullets are slow. stay close enough so you don’t have to track them but far enough so they can’t melee you. you also have to be really good at predicting their movements and actions.

when i was on the last teir of plasma pistol i was getting around 20 kills a game.

good luck!

When I first read the title I thought you were asking for help.
