My legacy controller stick setting displays as legacy(the control style I want) but plays as default.
i have tried everything to remedy …re- installed the game even. Updated controller Deleted profile in game. Hard resets. Pressed Y to return to default, then switched to legacy only to be playing with default controls Another profile on my system does the same thing, so I think it’s game related .
ive been playing legacy style since goldeneye… Someone please help !
Known issue, there is another thread with a whole bunch of replies. I hope this gets fixed soon. Until then, its only Halo CE, Halo 2 Classic, and Halo 3 for us Legacy folks.

Are we talking about the same issue, because I have been trying to get confirmation on my prob for weeks?
I can’t save my controller layout settings. I got to settings and the layout is set to Halo CE controls. I change it to Halo 4 layout and click X (to use for all games) and back out of settings. When I go back into setttings the controls are set to Halo CE again.
Is anyone having this issue as well???

It is my understanding that this is a known issue, one which is apparently an inadvertent result of the latest update. That said, I also want to point out that this was in issue in H2A forge even before the update. I can’t speak to whether this was true at launch, because I only recently purchased this game, but I know that from at least November 29th, legacy controls have behaved as default in H2A forge. As far as I know, forge was previously the only affected gametype. Halo is the only fps I play bc it’s so hard to find games that support legacy, but as another player who grew up on Goldeneye, I just can’t seem to adjust to anything else. I have no problem giving them a little time to fix this, but PLEASE, 343, do not put this on the back burner. This truly does make the H2A aspects of the game unplayable for us legacy players.
