HELP! Keep getting "Kicked" from Games.

Hopefully someone can help me or point me in a direction to get this fixed.

Every single game I play lately I have been kicked from the game for no reason whatsoever. This isn’t a betrayal kicking, but a “in the middle of shooting a bad guy only to be thrown to the menu screen with no other option but to dashboard and quit Halo to restart it” kicking.

The screen it kicks me to is the game mode screen (in this case it’s a red spartan in the background chasing down a blue spartan in the foreground with a beam rifle). It has my gamertag/emblem/fire team listed on the upper right side of the screen, and options to “Quit Activity”, “Carnage Report” and “Spartan Hub” on the bottom left. It will not let me quit the activity. It will let me open the carnage report and spartan hub but the carnage report is for the game previous the one I was kicked from.

At first I thought I was getting disconnected, and maybe my internet sucks. But I can assure you, after trying to play on 3 separate networks and experiencing NO LAG before the random kicks, I very much believe it is not a network issue but either a game issue or an xbox issue.

I have been playing on the exact same network for months now with no problems until last week when this started happening to me. I could get through a couple games, but now I cannot get through any. I have gotten the banhammer for “quitting” which I accept and am okay with, but there seems to be NOTHING I can do to resolve this.

Any help is appreciated.

I’ve just been booted 3 games i out of 5 in a row, perfect internet. Love losing 90 mmr because of a clear issue with there servers, as I have no problem with my Internet or any other game. 343 needs to get on this.

Honestly, I’m not glad that you’re having the issue but I’m glad I’m not alone on this. It is EXTREMELY frustrating. I have also posted this in the Halo 5 Support Forums.

Bump cause i’m desperate.

I almost entirely eliminated being booted by going from WiFi to wired. I cannot remember the last time I was booted.

That’s the thing! I use a wired connection! So I have no idea what is going on and I am strongly thinking that it is not on my end

Well if it’s an outage everyone is being impacted. Check my games history. I play, a lot. No DNF’s

Not sure what you mean by that last comment. You can check my games history too. Up until last week I maybe had a combined 2 DNF’s (lag outs/whatever the reason)… I never quit… but I spike in DNF’s because of this issue, and have been banned a couple times because of it. Not complaining about bans, but just I would love for this issue to be resolved and I’m glad to know that it effecting multiple people and not just me.

Only that wired connection cured my issue. No other intent was intended. Have you tried the check my multiplayer connection test in the Xbox settings. Not sure I can but of any more assistance.

I just checked my multiplayer connection and got an “It’s all good there are no problems with your connection for multiplayer”. So again, I don’t think this is an issue… Thanks for all your help and keeping this post alive a little longer. Hopefully someone from 343 sees it cause it looks like it’s affecting more and more players now.

I’ve been having the same problem for the last two weeks in every single warzone match.

It kicks me back to the menu screen, but then the menu screen doesn’t fully load and the game is completely unresponsive. Only way to get out is to go to the Xbox dashboard since the only button that will do anything is the center button.

This exactly. Except for me, it’s Arena and Warzone

Guys just an update from me. I read on another post that it may help to reset your cache. I did so and now have gotten through 2 full games. Which is 2 more full games than I have gotten through over the last 3 days. So this may not be an official fix, but it has helped for the short term at least! I’ll let you know if I experience the problems again, which I am assuming I will.
