Just purchased Halo Wars 2 on PC secondhand, it came with the 4 discs and when i was installing the game it told me about putting in a 25 key digit code? i haven’t got the key code card as it was secondhand, can i not play this game then? or is there a way of playing the game still?

If it works like other games, and I assume it does, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
You could try getting in contact with the seller and asking them if they still have the code somewhere, but if it’s lost or used (they’re often one-use) then you’re going to have to acquire another code somehow.
Without that code you can’t verify ownership.
