Hi, i was playing halo and i left one game today, it then proceeded to ban me for 23 hours. this is not right? i will be happy with 2 hours! I would like a reverse ban, how do i contact them?

Unfortunately no, quiting is a real issue, and it gets abused far to much. If this were more of a social game it would be different but halo requires a full team to stand a chance.

Getting a 24 hour ban means that you must have been banned a number of time before that. Bans are incremental - they take into account your history of AFK’ing, betrayals and quitting and increase in duration each time a trigger is hit.

i already did the time for my last ban. why dosent it reset and not ban me after i leave one game for being team betrade. and 23 hours is a little extensive? cant someone shorten it?
It looks for patterns in your account history, if you’re continually quitting even after you complete a ban then you’re not really learning form it. If it reset after you finished a ban, then people could easily exploit that. It’s all done by automated systems, there’s no one to manually shorten times

I got banned for quitting a match and I don’t give a -Yoink- what 343 rules have come up with. I paid $100 for this bs plus xbox live fees. I bet I post enough about this on social media about how bad halo 5 sucks that I get at least a few ppl not to buy this bs. Ban me for a few hours my -Yoink-. Fu
Quit less and don’t complain about being punished for bad behavior. Not a hard concept.

It shouldn’t trigger anything for 1 match, generally it’s patterns that the system looks for. A few more quits / betrayals or AFK’s though and you probably will hit another one

willit ever reset? like will it ever be so that next time i get banned its like an hour?
I don’t know if it ever resets, sorry. Likely if you have a large enough pool of games that you haven’t quit/afk’d/betrayed in then you shouldn’t be hitting any triggers. Forum Team / Bravo / Someone that works on matchmaking at 343 would probably be best to ask about that. Maybe send B is for Bravo a message and see if he can get any details from the team for you?
