I have aniversary map pack from getting the game and installed the maps to play on reach however, even though it says i have them i cannot play them on reach due to the maps saying failure to load…Any suggestions on how to fix/resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried deleting the Noble/Defiant map packs, restarting Reach, reinstalling the Noble/Defiant map packs after that?
I believe that was the fix for something to do with the maps before, don’t quote me on that as I could be wrong. I’d PM BS Angel first to see if she has the proper answer though
I’m having this same problem. I downloaded the map packs from buying anniversary, and the maps won’t play when the reach disk is in. But when I go to matchmaking in the CE disk, it works perfectly fine. I checked my installed games and it says that the “Halo reach anniversary map pack” is installed on my HDD.
I had a similar problem after the last title update, by chance are you also unable to watch videos in theater or load up custom maps in forge and custom games?
Are you trying to play the maps off the account which the code was redeemed on?
I thought it didn’t matter what account you used the map pack on as long as it was on your console?

The account of which redeemed the code still needs to be on the Xbox’s Hard Drive as a valid profile, its to stop users just downloading the DLC online for free.
Oh Okay I didn’t know that, I’ve never had a reason to remove my account so they always just work for all the accounts on my console. Thanks for the info.

Good to hear, its just some users tend to move their profiles around on USBs to different consoles and make use of the Cloud Game Saves, and most people don’t understand you need to actually have the profile who redeemed the code on the console for the DLC to work.
