Sorry for sounding like a noob but idk if I got the update. I mean the game played differently (a good different :P) but I wasn’t asked to download anything, and i’m afraid this might be all in my head… So any info would be nice, thanks in advance.

Is it possible that the update wouldn’t work for some people? Because I played quite a bit yesterday, and the BR was certainly not a 4 shot.

I doubt it. I don’t think it’s possible to update the game for some people and not others. If the BR wasn’t a 4-shot, you were probably just missing.

That’s always possible, but I doubt my skill decreased that dramatically overnight. You’d think I would have gotten at least 1.
And it’s not like we’re guessing as to whether I hit or not, there are hit markers now. If I’m missing, I’m missing their head.

It’s a matchmaking gametype update. So unless you were on the backup servers, I severely doubt that it would be possible.
Try downloading the gametype and running it in customs with a second controller plugged in. Do a few tests with the BR and Carbine.
Actually, scratch that. Go online and use the Light Rifle. If you notice a significant fire-rate increase with the scoped shot, the update is working and you simply missed shots with the BR.
An easy way to tell is to hipfire the LR first, and then scope and shoot a few times. If the scope shot shoots faster than the hipfire, the update is working.
if you watched a recent 343 press conference (it was when they revealed Forge Island), they mentioned they have the tools to dynamically change weapon balancing without a TU
