Hello, I’m having a problem with the helioskrill armour/helmet unlocking after I beat all the halo campaigns on legendary difficulty on mcc. I have the achievement and everything, but it hasn’t unlocked. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Did you use any skulls during your legendary run if so which skulls did you use ? Also maybe try restarting Halo MCC and Halo 5 Guardians or play a couple of matches on both games. I hope this helps you out so see you around Spartan.

Hey. Thanks for taking the time to try and help. I did it coop with my friend and he got the armour/helmet immediately so I’m pretty sure it just bugged out for me. Almost 100 percent positive it has nothing to do with the skulls in my case. Thanks again

An Also you know 343 made Helioskrill variants like Warbound and Bloodgorgers they can be only unlocked in the req pool you will have a better chance at getting Helioskrill there.
Yeah the skulls definitely shouldn’t affect it OP, I got it with them. Try rebooting your XB1 a few times, clearing the cache, etc.

Wow I use no skulls because they said they stop achievements if that’s true man I went to Hell and back to Get Helioskrill Like twice because the first time I did it well it didn’t work out for me so I did it a second time and got Helioskrill unlocked boy was that Hell. So I guess it is bugged out some of those Skulls would of helped me especially since I did the legendary quest twice that’s just how bad I wanted Helioskrill.

Yeah it does seem like using the skulls increases the chances the missions won’t save right. I found that if I beat them first without the skulls on any other difficulty, then replayed them on Legendary with the skulls on, it worked.
Congrats on getting it legit!! I can admit I just suck too much, LOL. 
Yeah, Helioskrill is bugged I’m pretty sure. Seems I hear some people say they get it but seems like most people don’t, best chance at getting it is going to be just open reqs on halo 5 until you get it.
If you have tried changing your MCC character and playing some multiplayer and have the done the same with Halo 5. Waited, still nothing. You might need to accept that you won’t get it. Don’t worry though it is in the req system meaning you will get it through req pack grinding.
Thanks for all the help everyone. Good community here :)…Maybe it’s something I’ll have to wait a bit longer for. I was worried it was only unlocked through this method.

No problem hope you get it soon, I believe 2 or 3 months ago was when they added all the helioskrill to the req pool. And sorry to hear about you not receiving it that really sucks.
