HELP: Extraction Gametype broken

Among other things, the Extraction gametype is undoubtedly broken.

Get this:

I went to create a “Non Disclosed Gametype that features 1 life, 2 objs, and you only have to destroy one to win”

I set it at 2 objectives, one extract to win round. Or so I thought.
Well, I went and tested my creation on several maps (Adrift, Ragnorak, etc) and I was dumbfounded to see only one objective at all times.

So, after 3 tries- which left me butt frustrated, I went and added a “Point to win” and left the number of objectives at two.

Lo and behold, there were TWO objectives and TWO points to WIN.

Facepalm

So not only can I not create a decent “Undisclosed gametype” without One Bomb, I cant even create it with this lackluster gametype.

Long story short, I am STILL hating customs.

Any idea how I can fix it? Or am I just SOL.

SOL.

Sorry man, we need like a tutorial on this new custom game style UI.

This is how extraction works.

There are only enough extraction points on the map so that only 1 team can win.

For example, you need 5 points to win and there are 3 extraction points. If both teams reach 4 points, the map will only spawn 1 extraction point (as both teams only require 1 point) in the next phase.

This forces the players in the game to fight for the final point, rather than a simple ‘base race’ where both teams will sit in the closest extraction and hope there extraction completes first.

In your fantasy example (2 extractions points 1 point to win), it would becomes a race to which team gets to the closest point first, and not who can fight and hold out the single extraction point.

What is an ‘Undisclosed Gametype’?
