Got a penalty for early quitting and after that got the server issue.
Anyone know how to fix this or is this 343s fault?

Have you tried quitting the build and attempting after? If so, try hard resetting your console (hold the power button down until the console clicks off and then boot it back up). That should fix the issue. Let me know.

What do you mean by build?
I did the hard reset multiple times but the issue wont go away.
Maybe delete the game and redownload?
Could it be a bug that when you get a penalty you will get stuck with the server issue?

Build just means the current state that the game is in. Basically quitting out of the entire game back to the home screen which you obviously have done. Try resetting your router or unplugging the ethernet from your xbox. Then do a hard reset (press AND hold power button on the console until console clicks off) and reconnect to xbox live. See if that works for you.
So reset my router + redownloaded the game but still that damn server searching issue!!!
Must be a new 343 bug affecting my game region.

I still have the issue and it wont get away. Not after hard reset and router reset. Redownload ready for 50%. Can start the game up but still says contacting server.
