Everytime I play a matchmaking game I keep getting the “Assistant” commendation over and over again on the same tier. How do I stop this? I don’t want to get reset or banned or something for something that I’m not even controlling. I hit the credit cap so I can’t get the credits that it gives me for getting Assistant so I figured that’s why but it keeps popping up every time I get an assist medal every game and it’s starting to scare me a bit.

If you actually hit the credit cap, and not boosting in a game, then what your seeing is the continuation of earning the additional commendations, without earning any other credits for them.
Assist is one of the harder to earn Comm’s in all of the Commendations, and if you’re earning them regularly, then good for you and keep doing so.
Play on, and don’t worry…
I ran into this last week while onyx-ing my assists, where I got it about 8 times with no credits and lol’d everytime.
But as it turned out, no commendations/credits I recieved were being kept until I completed my current custom challenege. Glitched I guess. -after each game my assists reset to 7999 for 4 games-
