Help: Aiming settings

Hey everyone just got halo 5 hallelujah! But I’m struggling to find the perfect setup for the aiming settings so was wondering if anyone could post their setups so I could try them out would be very grateful thank you.

There is no “perfect”, just perfect for you.

Keep tweaking the settings and run a few matches with them, find what’s best for you.

Inner and outer dead zones set to 4. Acceleration is a preference but I put it at 2. Then you can mess with the sensitivity as well and that will also be preference.

Very true my friend but because I’m a tad thick I’m lost on the look acceleration and dead zone parts in just used to changing my sensitivity lol.

The dead zones need to be as low as possible. If you have a newish controller you can set it to 0%. I prefer 2 aim acceleration as well.

Well just opened up the xbox one two days ago so will set it to 0% on a more informative note the controller still has the new plastic smell ahh unmistakable lol

Honestly 0% deadzone or default don’t make a difference to me. But acceleration 2 from 3 is a huge difference. My sensitivity is 7

0-12% was a big difference to me…maybe just my controller being a year old

I do inner 0% and outer 15% because it feels more like the aiming from previous games

I have found that inner and outter deadzone at max. Acceleration at 4 and sensitivity at 3 works best for me after hours of trying different set ups. Im really heavy on the sticks and it provides the correct resistance for me personally.

I have 3 % on both deadzone settings and 2 on aim acc

It will all depend in how you play. I use 3 sensitivity 2 acceleration 9 deadzones bumper jumper. But ive usually always played 3 or 4 at bumper jumper so it usually carries from past halos

What exactly is “dead zone”?.. I didn’t know, so I’ve left the setting alone… Sensitivity is at 6 and acceleration is at 3

Inner dead zone is the amount you have to move the stick before you get a response on the screen. The larger the setting the more you need to move the stick. The outer dead zone is the same thing but when releasing the stick. 0’s are what’s preferred but sometimes not possible. Like for instance. If you had your outer dead zone set to 0 when you moved your thumbstick to a direction all the way and released it, it could potentially still have a slow drift like effect after you’ve released the stick. This tends to happen on older controllers. Just remember you want to be as close to 0 as possible for the dead zones.

Its the phantom zone but in the haloverse.+
In all seriousness I run with 2 sens and 5 accel it gives me a steady aim while being able to 180 degree turn nicely. My deadzones are zero but i have a new controller so i don’t experience slow turn or stick drift.

I have my sensativity set to 10 dead zones to 0 and look acceleration on 2
