I’m sure I’m just missing some thing simple but is the time frame, 10am to 2pm, just for pvp or every thing? Can you play against bots and on the training ground the entire weekend or just during that time frame also?
For all I’ve learned, Training Ground and the Academy will be available while Matchmaking is not. Take that with a grain of salt, because I don’t know that for sure.

I been looking into it, a lot of people are asking the same thing. I seen something about them having Flight problems saying it will be delay, but i don’t know if its been confirmed just yet. Sorry this doesn’t answer your question.
The time frames stated in the announcement are for matchmaking. During the downtimes, you can use training mode (solo with bots and custom load outs, difficulties, etc.) and weapon drills. Idk what maps will be available in training. They are restricting these time frames to get everyone on at the same time so they can see how the servers perform under stress, they aren’t gonna kick you out of the game completely during downtimes. I got this info from the recent inside infinite blog article and yesterdays official livestream.
I would like to know. I’m sorry but the time constraints just don’t work out with real life for a lot of us. I can’t sit around all day waiting to play a few hours. It’s depressing because I’ve looked forward to this for so long. I understand they have to test the servers and this is the goal but I can’t help but wonder if they will have less participation than normal. It’s football season in the U.S. too. I’m hoping to get at least a couple hours in total. Personally I would rather it be during the weekdays but my job schedule is different than most. Lol yes I’ll take a little cheese with my whine.

Yes I understand why they are doing it. I’m not mad or hating, just disappointed. I hope you are right about training grounds and drills. Wonder about bots arena but I’m guessing that falls under matchmaking.

Bot arena sadly falls under matchmaking because it’s a player team vs a bot team as opposed to a single player simulated mp experience
