I’m am currently trying to get weapon masteries. I am almost done with the UNSC. Also, I am almost done with the light rifle. So my question is this: How the he11 do I get any kills with the plasma pistol? It’s horrid. Along with the carbine. Any advice?
carbine: aim for the head. it has an extremely fast kill time but actually takes some effort to use.
Plasma Pistol: say gf k/d and go play regicide.
I always aim for the head. In comparison to the DMR, BR, and lightrifle, the carbine is useless. I can’t do anything with it. I just played regicide for the plasma pistol kills, and I only got 1 or 2. It absolutly does next to no damage to an unshielded target.
Team of 6 or 8 for Regicide or Team Regicide…plasma pistol and pulse grenade loadouts only.

Carbine is most dominant between the AR and BR range. It has much less aim assist than the dmr and BR, and much less range than the lightrifle, so it most definitely is harder to use. But it has the second fastest kill time of all load out rifles if you get all head shots. (fastest being scoped in lightrifle.)

Oh really? I honestly had no idea. So…bad idea if you care about your HTR ranking. Bad bad! Don’t do it!
But…it’s tons of fun with the right people.
Can’t you just take out their shields with the AR, and then use the Plasma Pistol to finish them off and get the kill that way?

No. I didn’t say, “Go stand in the middle and farm kills off each other.” I said play Regicide normally, just only use plasma pistols. It’s no different than playing a game using only a BR/AR/DMR/etc.

To be fair, Bungie didn’t mind it either, in all three game modes.
As long as every player was playing, meaning there shouldn’t be 3 people on each team going 0/20.
You would think so, except for the fact that by the time I strip their shields they are close to gettign rid of mine. So I wouldn’t have the 15 seconds it takes to kill with the plasma pistol.
Spray like there’s no tomorrow. That’s all the advice I can give you. And yes, I have a total of 2 plasma pistal kills and were random and funny
