Help a "Legacy" stick dinosaur

Hey yo,

I feel like I am the last person on earth using “Legacy”/Bond stick configuration. I mean, hell, I had to sell my copy of Star Wars Battlefront cuz the Legacy configuration does not work properly.

I have been able to play at a high level with this layout, so I never committed to making the switch. I feel like my movement is overall very high level, however my aiming and subtle movements while scoping are messy and sloppy. I really feel like my skills are eroding in Halo 5 as I can’t compete any more against top players. My overall KD ratio has dropped a whole point in the last month. My accuracy is hovering in the low 40% on primary weapons.

I feel like I should just completely revamp myself, cut the cord, and play like the rest of the planet with the default stick layout. Now that I own an Elite Controller, I have more customization to help me make the transition.

Any thoughts? Anyone else make the switch recently and have advice?

You should try the support section for questions like this, but as most would say for help on controllers the most used is bumper jumper set deadzones to 0%, sensitivity between 3-6 your opinion and aa to whatever feels rights

I highly, highly recommend Bumper Jumper. But, I’d say to try out different layouts and see how they feel. And remember, any new layout you choose will take a bit of time to get used to. But the Elite Controller will give you plenty of versatility.

I guess I’m not so concerned about button layout, more wondering about sticks specifically.
