What OS and web browser are you using? What version of that web browser are you using?
(If you don’t know what a web browser is (some people don’t) and you’re on a computer, then it’s either Internet Explorer for Windows or Safari for Mac.)
If your web browser supports extensions or add-ons, do you have any installed? If so, which ones?
Note that very long browser sessions can crash spontaneously; most web browsers will slowly leak RAM, and will forcibly shut down once they use too much memory. In my experience, for example, leaving Firefox open for five to eight hours causes it to crash after reaching about 3,000,000 K of memory usage. If your browser crashed due to high memory usage after a lengthy browser session, then that’s a problem on your end, and not something that 343i can do anything about.

If you’re wondering about getting your lost post back, you probably won’t be able to.
Some browsers are clever and will backup form data as you type it, and then automatically restore it if the browser crashes. Unfortunately, it sounds like your browser isn’t one of these, or just wasn’t able to save the form data in time.
