HELP! 25.9GB base game installed no updates or preload as for as I know. Worried

Hey all. So I can’t seem to get my xbox series x to install the campaign unless the whole game is 25.9GB.
I booked off work to play wont get a chance till 2 weeks from now other wise.
Please send me a solution to get it installed by tomorrow!

I’m posting to revive this forum and hopefully get you an answer. I couldnt tell you as I am playing on a day one Xbox One.

Nobody can because there isn’t an update yet. It will be released on the day unless stated otherwise

Don’t think we’re getting a pre-download, unless maybe by a few hours.

I guess I was assuming that the whole game was 25 ish GB. Is it not?

Last time I read it was around the 50gb mark I think.

I would be Happily surprised if the whole game is 26gb (18 in series S), but probably we wont be able of download campaign until tomorrow at 10am PT

I just googled it, it’s 62.78 GB but may not be including the multiplayer at 25gb.

Your best bet is to just get a physical copy.

There’s a 60 gig update that I can attempt to push through the game pass app, but it’s unresponsive on console. From what I’ve read, we won’t be able to preload at all. The DL won’t start until the global release. Meaning servers are going to get absolutely slammed, and many of us won’t be able to play until late tomorrow evening if not the next morning. Can’t wait.

The pre-load will probably go live sometime between 4pm PST today and 5am PST

It’s counted as a DLC so I assume no preload.

Thats mp.
Theres another 26 GBs to install tomorrow.
EU shafted yet again due to global release time and no preload.
Every chance this game has to get me excited it fumbles big time.

The game on disc isn’t playable same issue either way.
Best bet is to not buy it just use gp from my perspective.

@Dandulf I won’t see zeta untill Sunday I reckon. Storm coming and slow speeds.
