I’m a little disappointed that some helmets in this game have no visors, like the Venator helmet. Some helmets could look so much better with a visor color. Engineer would look sick if you could change the visor color for those circles.
I would have loved to been able to change Venator Visor Color=/
Or at least be able to change the lights that are on it instead of the plain white
Did you know Engineer actually has a visor.
Yeah, Engineer has that little line that you can change that it’s almost possible to notice.
I like the helmets with no visors, like Infiltrator and Protector. What I don’t like is that some of the helmets like Venator and CIO have visors that are pure white and can’t be changed. That almost seems like someone got lazy and didn’t finish them all off.
I feel like I’m playing a Beta with this game. Unfinished armor, file share system still down, severe lack of maps, barebones playlists, improper game balance.
I wear the Locus helmet and the only thing about this that bothers me is when I unlock a new visor color, I have to switch helmets to see what it looks like.
Yea it’s odd…how do they see?
> Yea it’s odd…how do they see?
Cameras mounted on the helmet probably.
I assume they are visor-less for extra protection.
That’s actually probably what those “white visors” are supposed to be.
Like just imagine a monitor on the inside of the helmet getting feedback from those cameras.
I’m fine with Locus though, it’s meant to have no visor at all. I’m just talking about the ones that just have white light for the “visor.”
It’s 2012 and we’re already talking about wearing computers that follow your eye movements. In 500 years, those self same computers will have more sensors spread over your body than you can count. A visor is a weak point in a helmet and so ideally, not having a visor would be a good thing. As long as you have multiple different sensors feeding visual data to eye screens inside the helmet so that Spartan can “see” then that Spartan probably has a slight tactical advantage. This is of course a real-life scenario and has nothing to do with game design. 343 probably thought the visorless helmets looked “bassad” and decided to include them.

Yah, it’s almost like it’s Halo 2 or something.
Except more polished…and less glitches…and cheating.
It’s 2013.
