I altready tried talkin about this when Halo 5 was first released so: What if the Helmet HUB (or HUD? Sorry I don’t know the exact name) is different from one to one? Kinda like Halo 5 campaign?

It’s HUD, which stands for Heads Up Display
I could see this being a thing in campaign if there are multiple playable characters. But I don’t see this being implemented in multiplayer.
I agree, I’d like to see this make a return too. Different HUDs are immersive. To expand on what Chimera said above, they wouldn’t implement this in multiplayer because it can give an advantage to certain helmets and a disadvantage to others. That can be caused by element shapes and helmet borders as viewed from the inside, to name a couple. Basically, you want everyone in PvP to have the same information (quality and design) and this would go against that. But hey, if they figure that isn’t the case like in games where you can play as an Elite, it would a layer of cool to the multiplayer.

But in campaign you are playing as a specific character, so you wouldn’t use the feature there either. With nowhere to use it, there would be no reason to have it. I could also see it being a source of confusion for new players, why complicate something that doesn’t need to be complicated. In short, I see no upside, and plenty of downsides. Hard pass
I think it could work in multiplayer, it just requires a little more testing. The customization would be subtle tweaks that still allow for a level playing field.

I don’t see how it could possibly be confusing to new players. It’s been used as a feature in every campaign starting with Halo 2 where Arbiter’s HUD elements had different shapes and colors, so it isn’t anything new and there have been no major criticisms of it.

That’s one example of a FIXED change. There were no options, the HUD had virtually the same info, it just looked different. You are comparing apples to oranges here.

Unless I’m misunderstanding OP’s intent with his/her post, it seems like the point was to discuss bringing back the fixed changes like the ones seen in Halo 5 when playing as different Spartans in the campaign. That was also what I was posting about (the look of the HUD) hence the mention of the word “return” in my first sentence. Seems like you’re the one sizing up different fruit, bud.
If they were to add it into multiplayer, maybe have it only available for custom games as an option to whether helmets have different HUDs based on their helmet or not and not have it Arena game modes and other official game modes but give the option for people to use it in their own custom games or also have the option to force certain HUDs on a player(s) for example for game modes of infection. This could also give machinima (pretty sure it’s not spelled that way) artists a new area that they can use in their films/videos that they make. This is definitely an area that can be explored.
this is something I’ve been wanting to see since halo 3 (it was very faint in H3, but still visible enough to notice). if each helmet has a different visor design, then why do they all share the Mark VI HUD ? you should be seeing the lines and ridges we see on the out side of the visor. some very notable examples of this: EVA (halo 3), CQB (halo 3), ODST, Pilot (Reach), Recruit, Hazop (halo 4).

i wouldn’t mind having different HUDs for different helmets, but some of them would get distracting if the helmets are as weird looking as H5s… who knows though, they could work
I think different HUDs would be cool varying from one helmet to another.
Don’t expect this to be ever in MP
Honestly I’d like this to be a customizable feature for our multiplayer Spartan. The more “different” customization the better though. Just don’t make it too complicated. Pretermined looks
Definitely!! Different for each helmet would be super cool

I would love to see different HUD options for visors. Imagine how different Gungnir would be when you have a laser? Or imagine a Recon helmet that gives specific things when you have a silenced SMG or Sniper.
