Helmets in halo 3?

I’ve always found it hard to unlocking helmets in halo 3, but does anyone remember how to unlock the ODST helmet? It’s been a helmet I’ve been wanting to unlock for awhile.

You literally need to become a private rank in Halo 3, so you have it already as does basically everyone else.

I thought almost every Halo 3 player has all the armor at this point. It is relatively easy to unlock it all.

Except for Recon.

ODST is unlocked by Reaching Private How to unlock Halo 3 armor vid (The video is 8 years old sooo Recon is unavaliable)

Recon is the only armor you can no longer unlock. Everything else is cake.

It was weird for me unlocking them because I never really knew when I unlocked them! I remember checking repeatedly hoping I got a new one. As soon as I got the Hayabusa helmet though I freaked and I really haven’t taken it off since.
