Would like to play without helmet, and have the option to customize my Spartan face (tattoo, scare, beard, etc). The war games are simulations, so there shouldn’t be any harm if you want to use your Spartan without it’s armor, or helmet.
No, we don’t need customizable faces. Our helmets are enough. There are plenty of games with this option, and there is no need for every game to have the same options.
Not really, this would be too much work for the developer.
Un-needed as well if you ask me. Also the way they design helmets and armor now a days it they would probably all be so bad you wouldn’t want to use the majority of them either.

Exactly for some helmets their eyes are in a very wierd place like where their chin or forehead is supposed to be
Certainly, they can implement this, but it better come with one very obvious drawback. Playing without a helmet means head shot = insta-death under any and all circumstances.
Let them fix current customization and bring back reach customization before the introduce something like that.

But, they’re suppose to be simulations…

Many designs looks like aliens, they’re ugly. I would make my Spartan look like Snake, sooo badass

If they are in a simulation that represents wartime scenarios why in the hell would they not have their helmets on?

So they can look really cool while killing people
That would take up way too much processing power
Playing without a helmet wouldn’t work in any gametype other than Swat because one hit to the head and you’d die.
Modeling and animating realistic human heads for Spartans would need to involve creating enough options to cover all the “human diversity” aspects (-Yoink!-, race, etc.) which I’d imagine would be very time-consuming for very little benefit. In addition, wouldn’t it be weird to see identical faces? At least when Spartans keep their helmets on, I can imagine they all have different faces. Sorry I’m just not a fan of this idea

Also they could add more announcers and your Spartans voice customization (like in Reach).
id like that honestly
As of now, I disagree. If we’re lucky however, they’ll make the feature available for Halo 6

Agreed. Not a fan of the idea. I would rather see the reach customizable options come back way before I see a face. And I agree, it’s a war time simulation. I don’t know of any armed forces simulations that you don’t go in fully suited up.

agree… with so much up in power as far as the system goes… full customization and more should have been implemented… i’m not going to pretend like i know what i’m talking about because I have not played a game with indepth customization in a while… but to me it should be a no brainer to have a decked out spartan, my decked out spartan the way I see fit
It’ll probably turn out like Destiny
Think it could make the game more violent. I don’t play any games that are real people killing each other with real guns. Halo is kind of like star wars violence. Stylized and no blood. I hope they always keep the violence level right where it’s at. If you had headshots on helmetless spartans it would cross a line and I wouldn’t be able to play around the kids or let the kids play it at all. That would suck.
