Was it just me or did anyone not notice the helmet shadowing on the hud? I was bored and started watching some of my videos and randomly clicked into a campaign one and said to myself, This looks weird for some reason… then realized that there was shadowing around the edges of the screen for the helmet.
It got me thinking, if we are wearing the same helmet as those campaign characters… why didn’t our UI change to match that one? Not really a complaint, just was bored and curious lol
EDIT
Normally I play on a big screen in the dark but am watching the videos from a 24 inch monitor right now. Maybe that has something to do with it.

The campaign HUDs are unique to each character, if that’s what you’re referring to. The outline of the visor affects what the HUD will look like. This isn’t the same for campaign helmets in multiplayer, however, for reasons unbeknownst to me. Perhaps some players would find the HUDs on their favorite campaign helmets distracting and thus have little interest in wearing them, whereas if the HUD on every helmet is the same it doesn’t matter. If every single helmet had a unique HUD, some players might be turned off from wearing something that they like because the HUD looks like horse -Yoink-.
By the way, viewing a screen in the dark is bad for your eyes, you might want to stop doing that.

“The light! It burns us!”
All joking aside, I guess I can understand that. TBH I didn’t even really notice the edges on them being different until rewatching some videos on a squished screen which I was like… huh, that doesn’t look right for some reason and then noticed the faint outline of the helmet on the outside and was like oh cool I didn’t even notice they did that in H5.
I also like to record fails as well as epic moments so sometimes I find funny things that I forgot had happened, not to be like oh yeah I’m so self absorbed I watch my own videos because reasons. haha.
