I would be surprised if this was the case, but do large helmets make your hitbox larger? Just based on playing the game, I find it easier to acquire and shoot at large helmets.
That’s why I use recruit (not to mention I find it’s one of the best looking helmets).
Not too sure. It could be that their just an easier/obvious target to hit with oversized helmets.
No it doesn’t but a smaller/larger helmet can visually trick your enemy and make them either waste more shots thinking they are hitting your head or fire less so they can hit your head

I agree, I mean at the very least it makes it easier to target the head, even if the hitbox is the same size.
No, but the bullet magnetism makes testing this theory confusing.
I know the Fotus unicorn horn does not get stuck with stickies so I imagine that larger helmets shouldn’t matter, but who knows?
I don’t think the hitbox changes, but I do think the difference in helmet sizes is what attributes to getting headshots when the bullet seems to miss. The hitbox has to be large enough to accommodate the largest helmet, so even when using a smaller helmet, you get headshots even thought it appears that the bullet is missing the head, but it’s still hitting the hitbox. Otherwise, if the hitbox was the size of a “normal” helmet, if you were shooting at a big helmet, it would look like you were hitting it when in reality you were missing the hitbox.

What? That would mean parts of the big helmets wouldn’t have collision and bullets would go right through them which isn’t the case. I believe the hitbox is the same size, it’s just big enough to accommodate all the helmets.
The hit box is just really huge to accommodate for the large helmets.
Just appears to be bigger, but it is the same. Just seems that the big melon is easier to hit.
Im positive it doesnt matter… same would be the case for male and female bodies. The bullet magnetism hides the size of the actual hit boxes. They are always the same. For example, you cant shoot the horn on Fotus.

I’m pretty sure this is the answer. Simplest and makes the most sense.

Try the fotus you bullets can go through some of it
When I am precision hitting an enemy it seems easier to hit them because it gives you a larger target (not hitbox, just a visual) to hit. I find it easier to hit those people with large bright visors, but maybe that’s just me (has nothing to do with hitboxes)
Player model and player hitbox are two different things. So, no. All player hit-boxes are identical.
