So the new CU(Community Update) just gave us the release date for the new helmets which is Feb 9. Will the helmets be obtainable through 1 req pack or various packs? Any thought gents???

I don’t think you’ll need that much. At face value, you will need 35000 RP to buy the helmets through Silver and Gold Packs.
2 1/2 Golds, and 2 Silvers.
And I thought these helmets were the beginning of achievement only armor…too bad really. I would be way more interested in some kind of challenge other than using all my saved up RP’s. I have like 21 gold packs saved from the HCS so I might not even have to use too many of my RP’s to get these helmets.
It will likely be through several limited time packs. Probably 2 or 3 to a pack.
That’s a bummer… Was really hoping to do challenges in order to get a specific helmet.

Will they definitely be added to the req system or is it only possible to get them through this “dedicated” pack?

I’m expecting the packs to be 100k RP. If the helmets were only exclusive to those “dedicated” packs, chances are there’ll be a backlash on 343i for you know.

I’ve got around 400,000 saved. I’m soooo excited!

I hope they are clear on this, as I have the same question. Are they going to be one time exclusives or will they be put into packs later? If it is the latter, I will wait, as it makes no sense to me to spend 100k points for something I will be able to get for 4k points later on. I can get 20 gold packs for 100k points.
It better not be its dedicated own pack…

I don’t mind the helmets being in a pack, but I hope it’s possible to get the helmets without having to spend all my req points.
If the pack description sounds like this(assuming it costs 100k RP to buy):
“Each ‘Blast from the Past’ pack contains one Gen1 helmet”.
I’ll need 900k to get them all, which could take a while.
I thought the helmets would be obtainable through commendations or something. Woulda been nice if they were. I hope 200k is enough for those packs 
I hope that they’re in a pack for 100k points, then the pack gets removed. So not everyone has the helmets, then they get added months later again like the Noble team skins etc.

There is going to be 1 REQ pack and you will unlock all 9 helmets from this 1 REQ pack. I assume it will be 80,000 RP or 10.00$(U.S.)
Pretty sure it is only obtainable through the one pack that they said they would be in.

If that’s the case, then I am screwed. My Gold membership expired a while back. And being somewhat of the lazy type, I’ll be in the dark for a good bit.

Whatever they are, I hope that they are available for REQ points, and not exclusive to cash purchase.
