After playing for hours, I got to level 2 and it unlocked a helmet attachment… there’s no helmet attachment in customising armour? Just helmet and visor… am I missing something or?

You have to inspect the helmet and then move a tab over in the inspection screen. It’s a little hidden, but it’s there.
