Hello Halo and xbox fans. I am new to this site and xbox live all in all. I have had Halo and Halo Edition consoles from the start yet sadly my wings are clipped. Right now i am able to collect credit from campaign durring low bandwidth hours and send messages to friends via xbla. Im on my laptop going through waypoint and am still unable to unlock many items and browse waypoint on my xbox, as my internet is a cheap prepaid mobile hotspot.
I have ported my wireless to close the bandwidth to utilize the xbox only.
now
What I would love is any information on minimum requirements for multiplayer matchmaking. I am looking at getting home internet instead of mobile internet and before i call the company up I need to know what to look for. I dont want the crazy awesome destroyer internet connection just a requirement level so I dont get lag while in a multi matchmaking game, and has good video streaming capabilities.
My internet provider said that 10mb download speed is the minimum speed required for online games. I play on… well, I’m paying for 3mb and only getting 1 or less most of the time and it’s playable. But it does lag quite often.
I would get anywhere from 3 to 5 megabit internet connection, if you don’t want lag.

Thanks for the info everybody. These next few months, I should be getting my new internet. My local provider has a good deal 10mb for 45, and thats only 5 more bucks than my junky unreliable wifi a month. I can’t wait to use all these free 48 hour gold membership cards I have been saving from all my games. See you on live soon.
