According to Xbox support this is the place to request refunds. I would like someone from 343i to get back to me on this either here or on twitter. My Twitter id is “Exever”. Reason: I purchased the game before release and to this day I have problems playing. These problems caused me to waste my time and also money as I’m having no problems with other games that I enjoy because they work.
Unfortunately xbox support have fobbed you off. 343 does not have that kind of access to your account so would be unable to provide a refund. That would have to come from the retailer you purchased that game from, or Microsoft if you bought it from either their store or the Xbox live store
Microsoft can refund you. Don’t let them say no if you bought this digitally. Escalate the issue and they can do the refund
Exactly what I thought. Dude tells me it has to be their external partner 343 to issue a refund. Then I tell him everybody knows who acquired 343 for what reason and he points me out here to forums and Twitter like somebody ever got a response here from 343. I’m disappointed even more.

As I mentioned above, 343 cannot help you with this issue. Refunds for games bought in the MS/Xbox store need to be handles by Microsoft. From what I know you, you are allowed up to 1 refund per year, no questions asked. It may be one no questions refund in total, but I’m sure you can have 1 per year. Ask to escalate your call if you get nowhere with low level reps
