Hell yeah! The Pro Pipe!

Halo twitter showing tease of Grenade Launcher. I love the GL! I have been hoping this would be added sing the Reach update.

I am soooo excited about this. Anyone else?

Edit: -Yoink!-! I did what I hate. Posted before reading. Apologize for making duplicate threads. I am just so excited for this, and happened to be checking twitter when it came in.

OMG I PISSED OFF SO MANY PEOPLE IN REACH WITH THAT!!! =DDDDDDDDD

Same here. I love bouncing it just right, taking away shields, and popping em in the head. :smiling_imp:

I was always amazed at how many players did not go for it. Just like the Plasma Caster in Halo 5.

I’m excited, that was my favorite thing to use when it came to vehicles. Shoot it, emp that vehicle, and watch go into the water and explode.

Machinima usages too, heck yes!

Im so glad a halo reach power weapon is coming back. Now all i want them to bring back is Invasion and headhunter.

Game cheat already posted all these weapons on his page weeks ago. So odd how they’re bringing a sentinel beam type weapon back.

I DO find it odd that a UNSC Army weapon is coming along for the ride, but it DOES go along very well with the existing fiction when you really, really think about it.

With the SoF and Infinity making sweet, sweet love, now is a very good time to train your Spartans to use older technology… Much older technology.

Cool, praying the wasp variants also make it in the next update with a new warzone map and maybe the return of turbo, that would be nice.

Yeah we are getting this probably in 2 months. Cool…

For those of us that don’t want to be redirected to another site, can you include the actual name of the subject item, instead of a nickname you’ve given it? Please and thank you.

I feel like people that make vague threads with information only provided through a link have a bad habit of posting click bait on other social media sites which inclines me to not click…(even when I know it’s a legit and safe link)

Yay

Spartans have their own branch now, they’re no longer apart of the Navy. It’s why we use the DMR and BR in Halo 4 and Guardians, because it’s a hybrid the four other branches so they use shared assets. Only II’s and III’s are still in the Navy Special Forces, but even then they use whatever they want.

Screams like an excited little girl

Some Spartan IVs already know how to use old weapons.

I don’t and never will post click bait. It is a link to the Halo twitter page, and they posted a pic of it themselves. I can’t help but want to us the nickname for it. It’s the only time I can include the word Pro in reference to myself.

I know all that.

But I’m going to again, highlight the part where the UNSC is consolidating forces new and old. Some stuff (like the MA5B for instance) just isn’t used anymore by the Spartans, but IS used by our boys aboard the Spirit of Fire. Not sure how much more clear I can make this point.

Also, the M395 DMR is not Army. That’s UNSC, and Marine operatives used it. The M392 however, as of 2552, was still almost exclusively army. It’s not that we’re a combined arms branch because we’re Spartans.

IT’s that we’re using flat out new stuff- in the entirety of the UNSC itself. The old models are still very much in service, but it’s the old ones. Not the new ones.

So? Keyword some. Not all. If the UNSC’s resources (which at this point is effectively comprised of the Infinity, ten frigates and the SoF, possibly with stragglers), are strained, we’re gonna need to relearn how to use a lot of old stuff as a whole. Shocking as it may sound, some Spartan IVs, somehow, are even fairly freshly enlisted. They don’t know anything but the quote-un-quote, “Latest and Greatest” technology.

It’s time we taught them that a break action grenade launcher always has an application.
