Beating campaign on legendary is simple. The only reason I and many others dont have is because MCC was broken for 12 months.

Also, the base variant stays exclusive, so I don’t see the problem here. Oh, no one is paying attention to the armor details? How pity. I guarantee you that those who don’t pay attention to that, aren’t bothered by your armor either.

I dont see the problem. Its not like they took the original one and made it available day one through the REQ system.
You still have your exclusive Helioskrill set. The only way to get yours is through MCC. The new sets look noticeably different. People will know you earned yours. MCC is probably still the quickest way to obtain Helioskrill anyway, thanks to the req system.
People should naturally be against exclusive cross game rewards anyway, regardless of the majority of the community probably owning MCC. Needing to own another game to unlock an armour set?

Yeah, could you imagine if in Halo reach you needed to play past games top unlock armor? That’d be ridiculous.

I have commented on this before, the Sandboxers should have left this armour alone, but no they let the cat into the sand box due to their own lack of creativity, now we all have to suffer from cat pooh in the sand box.

False, they did make the original available through REQ packs, so now any scrub can just buy their way to an armor that people spent weeks working to get. And I don’t get why people are giving this guy crap, remember when Recon was exclusive and then they made it available to everyone? People were furious, and I was one of them and I am one of them now. The point of the armor was to show you were dedicated to the franchise, not that mommy and daddy has extra cash that you could spend.

They said before launch you’d be able to unlock the basic variant through REQ Packs and they kept their promise with this update. They never said it was going to be unlocked only by completing the MCC campaigns on Legendary, simply that you’d have it day one.
