Now I know a lot of you hate Helioskrill but for those who dont and have unlocked it like I have what if I told you in this video (link: Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Customization and Spartan Rank Packs opening! - YouTube) showing off Halo 5 customization you see Helioskrill in the armour list ok yes its a mythic armour but still imagine you had to complete all campaigns on legendary and all some 9 year old had to do is cross his fingers! Now I know this dosent actually mean Helioskrill is unlockable through req but i might just ask just in case!

i’m in the process of completing them all on Legendary (on Halo 2, Delta Halo). He can earn it that way, but I will have EARNED it through Blood Sweat and Tears! (really just tears lol)
Ya know, I might actually be pissed for once if that’s true. I spent days going through legendary on my own, and even more days with a friend of mine over Halo 2’s laggy as hell co-op(He lives in the UK, I live in the US. Causes problems.). I earned that armor. For someone to just get via the REQ system is just BS. I get that they want everyone to be able to get every armor, but this isn’t a pre-order bonus. At the least it should be a timed exclusive if they’re going to do that. Let those that earned it feel special for a while.

They already said no armor set is exclusive and can be obtained through the REQ packs. Certain ones are just guaranteed by various means.
If you’ve earned it, then congrats you’ll have it from day one.
Eh doesn’t bother me. Haven’t really looked into what the armor is going to look like in H5 but going by the trend it’s going to look like crap anyways. H4 had the worse armor ever so odds are it won’t be improved much from there.

I imagine there are people who didn’t get the MCC who’d like to be able to use this armor. It’s annoying to have DLC exclusive armor, not to mention armor that requires you to purchase an entire separate video game.

“It’s worth noting that aside from a few select exclusive items, everything in REQ System can be acquired through the regular course of play by earning REQ Points and redeeming them for REQ Packs.”
I would hope that Helioskrill is among those select few.

Lol quite the opposite. They said there were several items that could not be obtained in REQ.

Helioskrill was easily exploited, even though I did it before the beta came out without the blaster skull whatever it’s called. I’m mad that there is no sign of skull armor pertaining to a LASO unlock for Halo 5. Hopefully like MCC, they have a Skulls background/emblem for beating Halo 5 LASO. That achievement list should be coming very soooooon to see if the achievement even exists for Halo 5

Personally, I think that Helioskrill should only be obtained through completing all the campaigns on Legendary on the MCC.
What’s the point of even giving out the armor to Legendary campaign competitions on day one when any random kid can open up a REQ pack and get the armor I worked hard for? It takes all the value away from it.

I don’t think Helioskrill will be in any requisition packs i think its there for the people that did get it. and yeah there are no exclusives but no one mentioned achievement tied armors. just like the nightfall armor and the mark 6 armors.

I’m hoping that the fotus armor is on that exclusive item list, but I’m sure it’s not.
