I unlocked the original variation a while back going through MCC, but if I didn’t have it, is it obtainable through the req pack system? Just to be clear I’m not talking about Helioskrill Warbound or Bloodgorger. Just the Helioskrill original and if its exclusive to campaign completions? Or would you eventually get it through reqs like the other 2?
Yes. The original was made available through req packs.
Every Helioskrill variant,is obtainable through the Req system.
All Helioskrill variants can be obtained through the REQ system with Gold Packs.
So in short, the armor system means nothing…

It didn’t mean much before this anyway. Dont think it has since Halo 3 at least.

Halo 2 on Legendary isn’t that hard. If you die enough, you’ll eventually memorize most of the enemy spawns, making it relatively easy to deal with.

That last part is very true. I’ve always been a lone wolf, so I don’t have to prove or brag about anything I do. And every time the original Helioskrill theme comes up, I feel good about my self that I got it completing the Legend Achievement.

As someone currently going for Helioskrill I find it odd that all your missions on Halo 2 were done in 1:40:39
It used to be cool when it wasn’t available for everyone. When it was actually earned.
