Hi guys,as everyone knows now the helioskrill armor is available for everyone,you just need to open a gold pack,I…like every other player before the update passed many hours on the MCC playing all the halo campaigns on leggendary (omg halo 2 campaign is so damn difficult) i just want to say that i dont get it why 343 made us play all the campaigns on leggendary and then they made the armor available for everyone (who paid 100$ in gold packs or just got lucky) dont get me wrong it’s just that now the helioskrill has lost all it’s valour and i dont like the fact that now everyone can have the armor (without doing nothing) it’s just stupid i want to hear the opinions of people like me who just worked to get the armor.

Hate to burst your bubble but… 343i did mention that all armour would be unlockable in the game and Helioskrill was no exception. Not where exactly but they did mention it’d become a REQ pack armour like all the others in the Hammers of Storm update.
A little late to the party, but like Lykos said. 343 said from the start that it would be available through REQ packs.

No they stated Achilles won’t be in the Req system

I bet they will put in a skin of it in the Req system. I mean come on, the people grinding for it are pretty much making warzone a yoink! fest. Also as OP feels cheated for helioskrill I think it would be HILARIOUS if the grinders feel cheated for an Achillies set being put into the req system. At least those who earned helioskrill through MCC wear their armor as a badge of honor and not a mark of shame

They already implied everyone was going to be able to get the prize through other means anyways.

Lol it sucks but that’s what halo has become. Everybody wins and everyone gets a prize the compettive days of halo where rank mattered and armor was earned through special challenges are gone. The halo community turned into a bunch of whiny kids who demanded everything be handed to them.
Why are you guys so upset about this? It wasn’t difficult to beat the games on legendary at all. It’s not like you did anything that was remotely difficult. At most it can be tedious. And you knew before hand helioscrill was going to be unlocked through req packs, they said so. People complain about the dumbest things…

Think about it this way… You guys all have the same uniform but you have the Officer insignia/badges/pattern, whatever.

Through the REQ system.
I played every mission in MCC on leggggggendary because like every Halo title before it I wanted to beat it at it’s hardest difficulty (not including skulls) I didn’t do it for a reward or for some special armour, I did it for fun. As for H2 I wish all the campaigns were as hard as that on Legggggggggggggggendary difficulty

The tweet provided incorrect information. It was not in the req system. It was added to the req system with the hammer storm update. I have seen that old tweet to justify, what 343 did.
