The Helioskrill armour looks badass, but I can only unlock by completing all the MCC missions on legendary. I have limited game time and probably won’t be playing MCC when H5 comes out. Do you think I can unlock it from a req pack??
You can unlock it from a REQ pack, but will you? Probably not. That’s why I played through MCC to guarantee I got it. Otherwise you just have to use REQ packs, and Helioskrill is super rare.

That’s all from people that got the Legend achievement. I meant rare as in not likely to be gotten through a REQ pack.
As stated, it is a possible drop from a REQ pack. Albeit the chance of getting it is low because it is a rare piece.

Yeah I know there is a rare chance of it dropping in REQ packs, but the armour itself will be common, I expect to see a lot of it, judging by the amount of users using it in here.

I don’t know about that. We’ll have to see how many people continue to use it after unlocking other armor. I know that I’ll change armor, especially when I unlock the Noble armor set. I’ll be rocking Helioskrill at launch though.

I agree, I’ll probably change at some point too, I’m just saying Helioskrill is not super rare, it could have been though.
Dang OP… It’s all good though Holmes. Everyone’s going to be using that armor. People won’t even know you’ll be using the starter kit
I’m probably not going to play through mcc on legendary. It’s not that I don’t want Helioskrill armour (I really badly want it)it’s that I’m so psyched for H5, especially warzone, that I will probably be playing H5 whenever I can. Plus, since I can’t use the scarab and banana skull to pass H2 on legendary, it’s going to be PRETTY hard.
I haven’t got it yet, having said that I do like the Elites but I don’t want my Spartan to look like one.
You can obtain it througb REQ packs but the chances of that happening are so miniscule that you may as well play all the MCC missions on legendary if you want it that much.
But if I were to play mcc on legendary, it would probably take more than a month since I can only play on weekends, and that would also mean a month of playing mcc instead of H5. No offence, but who would do that
Just gonna finish halo 5 then go back and play through MCC.

You also have to think that the people on these forums aren’t exactly a sizable portion of the community compared to those who just play the games. So it very well could be more rare than you’d believe.

Well… tbh… even though it has been a year. I can see the guy’s point that at this stage playing MCC over Halo 5 for the next month isn’t exactly preferable.

A lot of people had it before the beta came out
Many more people got it soon after the beta.
Some during the summer.
You just have to pray to the REQ gods that you’ll get it
Everything in the game can be unlocked eventually and randomly through REQ packs. I wouldn’t stress it too much man. EVERYONE and their Mom will be using Helioskrill. I am content not having it for this reason.
