A while ago me and a friend went through and did all of MCC on legendary to get the Helioskrill armor in Halo5. Like a lot of people experienced, the game glitched out and didn’t give us our achievements. We went back and did all our glitched missions again but on easy to try and get them to register, it partially worked. After having gone through MCC twice, we gave up. Recently, I went and did it on easy again, to try for it one last time and it worked! I got the achievements I was missing and the “uncompleted levels” now show up that I’ve completed them on legendary. That was three days ago though, I’ve tried looking up if it had to be done before the launch of Halo 5, and I don’t see it saying one way or the other anywhere. Everyone I asked said it should work, so I’m left wondering if I just need to wait a bit more, or if it was a waste of my time and I just won’t get the armor. If you’ve done it and gotten it after launch, how long did it take? Or if you’ve gotten the achievement after Halo 5 and you stil never got the armor let me know. Or, if you know anything at all about it, I just want to know anything at this point.
It is now unlockable through REQ packs, maybe it is no longer unlockable through MCCs Legendary campaign… I got it today on a Gold Pack, in case anyone wants proof check my screenshots in Xbox.com
