Hi guys, so recently I finally completed the last mission i needed to beat the whole of MCC on legendary and earn the ‘legend’ achievement.
I did this on 31st of january, 17 days ago, but the helioskrill armour has still not unlocked for me in halo 5.
I have logged in and out of halo 5 and waypoint multiple times, checking the armour pieces multiple times on both but they are still locked.
I have made sure that the achievement definitely unlocked and I can assure that it has. It displays on waypoint in my most recently unlocked section and displays the unlock date.
I have tried many times to refresh the game in different ways such as logging in and out, opening req packs, and decided to wait it out till the valentines day update as i thought perhaps the gifting of req packs on this day may have triggered some sort of update but after 17 days it still has not unlocked.
Anything else I can try? Will it ever actually unlock? Is this another halo 5 bug in need of fixing on a larger scale?
Any suggestions would be appreciated but I do feel I have tried everything. Hopefully if nothing else this could bring more attention to the issue and help me find the results of any similar cases, thanks guys.
Go to MCC, change a customization item (armor, emblem, banner, etc.). Make sure that the change gets saved; it might help to also open the Halo Channel app. After you do all that, go back to Halo 5 and see if the Helioskrill set is unlocked.
