I love the new heavies! Its action packed, fun, and feels more like an older Halo game too me. There are no PODs, which is fine, and the RODs are sensible to the gametype. Please, add heavies gametypes to the BTB playlist!
I hope others have enjoyed the new playlist as much as I have.
Yeah, I’ve had a lot of fun in just a few games. And DLC maps show up very often!
I’ve not played Halo 4 in probably 4 or 5 months but decided to over the weekend and I’m glad I did. Heavies has been a blast. Would love to see this added in to BTB or keep it’s own playlist as is but knowing how the rotation goes I’m sure it won’t be long before this is removed. Either way great job on the playlist 343.
I only played but a few matches of it I believe. I finished the commendations so I am in no hurry but might be funer to play it with some other people. I e been playing more rumble pit and team slayer. I suppose I’ve been trying to use my Lightrifle more.
JIP’ed into a game on Wreckage. Were losing by three kills. Had a guy on our team constantly betraying with the Guass and plasma grenades (never did get booted)

So far I’ve seen seven DLC maps - A good sign in my opinion! BTB rarely ever had DLC show up without traveling in a full group, but Heavies is apparently attracting DLC owners, so why not toss it into BTB after the Heavies rotation is over?

I’m actually really confused why I find so many DLC maps in this playlist. I’m really happy I do, but after a year of pretty much never finding any DLC in matchmaking I’m curious if this playlist actually puts you with other DLC owners.

I haven’t encountered any maps yet…but man, I do like heavies! It has the second to best population of a playlist in Halo 4 at the moment!

I find this very curious as well. Almost as if the regular playlists are hardcoded to exclude DLC. But no, that’d never happen, could it??
Truth be told, I’m enjoying finally being able to play BTB on Castle Maps.

I wonder if this playlist has a more effective DLC filter but 343 didn’t mention that. I find Crimson maps very often. Haven’t had luck with Castle yet.

IDK man. Big Team Battle had the largest population and I’ve only found DLC in it a few times. Keep in mind that’s also the playlist I play the most.

I get them both about equally. I’m sure if you keep looking you’ll get those Castle maps soon. Was able to finally get that spartan laser achievo too thanks too Heavies Outbreak (something I was not able to do in the DLC Playlist, the irony).

Welcome back! As you suspected, Heavies is a rotational playlist but Squad DLC is coming on March 31, and I’m thinking this may fit in there nicely. I’ll pitch the idea to the sustain team and we’ll see what happens. Regardless, happy you’re enjoying.

I think this playlist was extremely well done. I’m a 10yr+ Halo fan/gamer, but Halo 4 just hasn’t been holding my interest lately. No reason why really, just a little burnt out on it maybe. And then BAM, Heavies comes out and I’m addicted all over again. I’ve even seen some DLC maps 
There’s plenty of power weapons if you feel like going on foot to contend with the vehicles, but if you play your cards right it really pays to get in a vehicle too. And vehicles/power weapons spawn so often there’s always something to use. You’re rarely stranded. I really thought it was just gonna be power weapons dominating vehicles all day. Glad I was wrong
Great job 343i. I know you get this a lot for the various rotational game types, but I really do hope you consider keeping this one around. At least until it’s population dwindles. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that took a while. So many explosions!!! So much fun!!
