What are 343 thinking, i understand that some people will like heavies but for me i feel like i have joined a 12 year olds custom game and i have to say, thats where heavies belongs. I am not a fan of the maps and infantry now seems a lot more pointless an for someone who rarely gets in vehicles its getting frustrating. I know some people play halo for fun but surely as with any game skill should get the most reward and with heavies that just isnt the case. Keep heavies any in game by all means but put it in a separate playlist for the 12 year olds.
So vote for something other than Heavies.

Do you really consider maps where vehicles respawn every 30 seconds to a minute to be adult, you might as well play mariokart, i dont mind vehicles but its just ridiculous.
I would love a “Heavy” playlist as opposed to “Squad Slayer”. I was thinking the people who enjoy BTB are going to get mad when Heavy is voted for every time!

yes, they are made by, or most were made by competent players and forgers, people who actually understand BTB.
BTB is about large parties fighting on big maps with vehicles in play, you’re saying that BTB should be infantry based yet vehicles have been a core part of BTB from day one of halo.

It doesn’t always come up as an option. There were a few times when it wasn’t even one of the six choices. And then there was that time people opted for BTB Boardwalk over Heavies. Lamesauce.

As i already stated vehicles is fine but there were already more then enough in my opinion. On a map called graveyard earlier i faced 2 banshees a wraith and a guass turret, whats the point of a DMR anymore…

Yeah the few times it wasn’t in the first “round” of voting, everyone selected NONE and voted for it the second round… =)

It’s called “Heavy (Heavies)” whatever. So not much! Find a “heavy” weapon!

Sometimes didn’t even see it in either round. Lucky. 
Actually Headshots are rewarded so DMR players still tend to carry the team.

People are just trying out a new thing. Give it a few days and several other people will be tired of it too, and you can get in normal BTB games. Personally, I love Heavies. Because even in the matches where you’re getting stomped on you can put up a half-decent resistance with all the fast vehicle respawns.

You got it the other way around. After the initial Vehicle rush, it’s a slow-paced infantry game on Hemmorhage. I think the only 12 year olds in BTB are the ones who take the Sniper and miss every shot or even better: (happened to my bro) As soon as he got into a Tank, his teammate AR’s him and blows the tank up. When he spawned and got revenge on the noob, he was booted. Betrayal System sigh

I was able to get kills using my DMR in a game of BTB Heavies. I like BTB heavies for now it is easier for me to work on my heavy weapon and to kill an enemy with a vehilce commendations.

Then you shouldn’t be playing BTB in the first place. BTB is very vehicle heavy. Which you need when you have wide open maps. If you don’t like heavies then simply don’t vote for it, and try to group a few buddies who feel the same way. Don’t forget the gametype is new and shiny so people will tend to vote for it more. Either way chillax. Big Team Battle is not desgined to be a competitive gametype. If you’re looking for competiion you should be playing MLG, Arena, ect. Not Big Team Battle.

This is why I play Anniversary Big Team Battle. Ridgeline seems to be the most balanced map for both infantry and vehicles. The multiplayer Matchmaking team at 343 Industries should go and play some Halo 3 Big Team Battle Heavy variant maps to get an understanding of balance. The Sandtrap and Valhalla maps had balance.
All the actual people who just play BTB an nothing else on my friend’s list all hate hevies just like me. I think they made hevies just to make bad people feel like they have a chance in this game. An plus you gotta go into BTB ^with^ a full party in order to not get anything hevies based at all because that’s all what people vote for. So you gotta get 8 people to overcome there votes if you don’t wanna play that crap everytime. I would only vote hevies if it was on an Objective gametype to where they spawn on there side instead of randomly all around the map.
