So this is not really a problem like the slow matchmaking time, but i want to bring it up anyways, because i love Halo and love playing it online.
So ever since Halo MCC came out on Xbox One i have had huge problem with the aiming. And i have played Halo for years, but the issue is coming from Xbox 360 playing Halo 4, and then playing Halo 4 on Xbox One its just messing with my head.
And sure the controller can be part of the problem, but i think its the jump to 60fps that is.
The aiming in Halo MCC set to 3 default especially in Halo 4 screws you over and mess with what your used to over all these years.
So i’m asking you 343i let us switch back to 30fps so guys like me can actually play Halo again and have fun.
I’m sorry if you can’t adjust, but that’s not a problem with 343i. Take more time to adjust instead of complaining about your skill level at sixty frames on the forums. You get thirty extra frames of reaction time. Theoretically you should be doing better (if you know how to adapt.)
The increased framerate just smooths animations. A second of time is still a second of time, but now the game draws a new picture more times within each second. Gameplay flows at the same rate, so nobody is getting any extra time to react.
If anybody is having aiming issues, besides obvious things like anti-aim and hit-detection failures which should be reported as bugs, their recourse is to change their sensitivity settings. Maybe the settings aren’t mapping perfectly from the original games, or maybe the smoother animations are creating a false perception–in some players–of a difference in reticle movement speed. I think it’s more likely the latter or some other nocebo effect; there’s nothing for 343 to fix here.
